It all starts with your assessment
If you want to play consistent golf with consistent ball striking performance then you will need to start by looking in the mirror and assessing some major areas of your golf game.
These areas are what I ask all my players to assess and we constantly look over these key performance areas to see where we need to work on the most to get each player to reach their next goal as I instruct them.
To find the answer to how good you want to be, I encourage you (heavily) to review your game and rate it in these critical categories.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) rate your :
Putting inside 5 feet
Putting 5-30 feet
Chipping near a green getting up and down in 2 shots
Bunker play
Pitch shots of 20-40 yards (ending up inside a 20 ft radius)
Pitch shots of 40-60 yards (ending up inside a 30 ft radius)
Approach shots of 60-110 yards (ending up inside a 40 ft radius)
Short Irons to the green
Long Irons to the green
Fairway wood or hybrid to the green
Driving in the fairway off the tee
As you look over those areas it should help to map out where things need to be worked on going forward in your golf game. If your average score now is 80 or 90 or 100 where do we need to get it to? What is the score? I know many of my players do not like trying to put up a number they want to get to, but for this exercise please do. As you rate your performance it will help us to map out where your swing work will be, and for some of my players we will be outdoor much more than before because the short game needs improvement or your ball trajectory for distance control.
Once you have taken the first step of looking at your current game, then it is time for us to get started on coaching you with your swing.
I offer a free consultation to look over your answers and begin a plan of action to get you to reach the level of play you desire to see for yourself on the course. Contact me HERE
