A new layer of my coaching is emerging. Most golfers try to fix their game from the outside in. They chase mechanics, tips, drills, and adjustments - hoping the next change will finally unlock consistency. But the truth is simple: You don't play with only your swing. You play with your state of being, who you believe yourself to be. Your state of being comes from how your identity yourself when you play. Every round you play is shaped by the golfer you bring with you - not the golfer you wish you were, not the golfer you were on the range, and not the golfer you were last week. The golfer you bring to the course determines everything. This idea has become the backbone of my coaching. And now, it's becoming a book. Why This Book Exists The deeper coaching I do with my players inside my Awakening Path mental golf performance programs has revealed something unmistakable: Most golfers don't struggle because they lack information. They struggle because they bring the wrong identity to the golf course. They try to change the outcomes without changing the inner state that produces themselves and the outcomes they see. They try to perform as one golfer while being another. This book is designed to bridge that gap - to show players how to build identity that builds consistent, confident, repeatable golf. It's not a swing book. It's not a mechanics book. It's not a list of tips. It's the inner architecture of performance. The Core Principle Your swing expresses your state. Your swing expresses your identity. Your identity expresses your game. When you change the golfer you bring to the course, you open a gate to navigate your golf game to the next level you have been striving to find:
Who This Book Is For This book is for those golfers who have been a part of my advanced education inside my coaching ecosystem - specifically for the players in the Awakening Path and the levels that follow it. If you've ever felt like:
How This Connects to Awakening Path Awakening Path is where golfers learn to start to build their identity they have been seeking to play better golf. It's the program where golfers stop reacting to their game and start creating it. This book expands that work. It gives written structure to the identity principles I teach inside the program - the same principles that transform consistent motion, confidence, routines and scoring from inside out. If you want to understand the golfer you bring to the course - and learn how to bring the right one every time - Awakening Path is where that journey begins. If You're Ready for the Next Level
I'll be sharing pieces of the book in the next days leading up to Masters weekend and the release of my book. I'll be sharing concepts, identity frameworks, and the inner mental navigation path that guide my coaching. If you want to be part of the group that this book is written for - the players who will eventually receive it - you can begin that journey Here

Every golfer believes they are working on their swing. Very few understand they are actually working on their identity.
Your motion is not random. It is the physical expression of the story you've been living- your habits, your beliefs, your fears, your history. When you stand over the ball, you are not swinging a club. You are swinging yourself. Most players try to fix their mechanics without ever examining the identity that created those mechanics. They chase positions, drills, and tips, hoping for a breakthrough that never arrives. The truth is simpler and harder: Your swing cannot outperform the identity that built it In the studio, I measure motion and precision- joint angles, segment speeds, pressure movement. rotation patterns. But the deeper work begins when we ask the question most golfers avoid: Who is the person producing the motion? Some players move like someone protecting themselves. Some move like someone trying to prove something. Some move like someone who doesn't trust their body. Some move like someone who has never been allowed to take up space. These patterns show up in data long before they show up in ball flight. Identity work is not therapy. It is not mindset coaching. It is the process of aligning the person you are with the motion you want to produce. When those two things match, the swing becomes inevitable-not forced. This is where the work becomes mythic. Your swing is a mirror. It reflects the version of you that steps into the shot. When we change the identity behind the motion, the motion changes without resistance. Mechanics begin to reorganize themselves. Patterns dissolve. Space opens. The body remembers what it was capable before the compensations. This is awakening: You are not here to learn a new swing. You are here to become the person capable of producing it. Identity-Based Golf Performance is not about becoming someone new. It is about returning to the version of you that moves without fear, without tension, without weight of old stories. Your best swing is already inside you. We are just removing everything that isn't you. |
